FLASH donkey kong by artist Tom kelly

This was for the Challengers Assemble Sketch blog, that week the was theme was "8 bit art". For this theme I did this illustration of a comic book /video game mash up of the dc comic characters the Flash and his enemy Grodd and the game Donkey Kong. This was alot of fun to make and if you get a chance check Out all the other cool art or at the Challengers Assemble blog, plus they have killer art in them!!!.

I created this illustration using Illustrator CS6, the pen tool and several layers, I used the pen tool and then did some free distort magic to make a few elements. Also I own the fonts used.
