Static Shock Surge by Artist Tom Kelly

here is another cool illustration I did for the Sketch Lottery blog, this time the theme was "Static Shock". This theme refers to Black comic book and animated Superhero character created by Dwayne McDuffie and now put out by DC comics. Hope you enjoy this one,he's gonna put a shock to your system! Oh FYI I used a some reference to figure out the costume and pose so if it looks similar to some other drawing's of Static that's why.

I created this using pen and Ink  just a few microns and my Kuretake brush pen and a tooth brush with White as well as black ink for the spatter effects then I used some white out pens to make lightning bolts.
