Venom Dark Shadow by artist Tom Kelly

This was for the Challengers Assemble Sketch blog, this week the was theme was "your fav spiderman villian". This theme I did this VENOM an alien creature that takes over its host and feeds of him, Venoms webs are kinda like a dark ink or goo that it emits. The reason Venom is my favorite is he is a character with most of spiderman's abilities as well as it's origin was born out of the mini series "Secret wars".
Most people favor the more classic villains such as Green Goblin or Doc Ock but for me Venom is far more fun plus he looks alot cooler in basic black and sharp teeth. This was alot of fun to make and if you get a chance check out all the other cool art or at the Challengers Assemble blog, plus they have killer art in them!!!.

I created this illustration using Pen and ink , then adobe Photoshop CS6 with the pen tool and several layers, I used the pen tool and then did some free distort magic to make a few elements.
